Today the government announced that New Zealand is immediately moving to Alert Level 3, and from 11.59pm on Wednesday 25th March 2020 moving to Alert Level 4. At Rapid Print we support this initiative to contain COVID-19. Rapid Print will continue to operate under Alert Level 3 & 4 as a supplier of printing and packaging to essential businesses in the Health Industry, Pharmaceutical, and Primary industries, including food and beverage production. Our Customer Services team are available via phone and email. We will work closely with you, to adapt to your needs in these challenging times.

OUR PREPAREDNESS
As a company, the health and well being of our people, our customers and our community is a key priority. Listed below are the measures we are taking to minimise the impact to our business as well as minimising disruption to services to our customers. Plans implemented to date include:

• a zero touch workplace
• a zero tolerance to sickness
• reduced site visits to essential contractors and visitors only
• rigorous cleaning and hygiene procedures
• multiple cleaning and hand sanitiser stations
• remote working opportunities where practical.
• international and domestic work travel bans

We will continue to monitor the advice and recommendations of the Ministry of Health and WHO to ensure the safety of our staff and continuity of operations.

SUPPLY CHAIN
The situation changes daily, and we are in constant contact with our suppliers to understand the impact to our business. At present, we are not experiencing any direct impacts on our material supply apart from a few manageable shipping delays. We are working closely with our suppliers to manage transport arrangements and closely track our material to allow appropriate management and communication with our customers. We carry considerable stock holdings of raw materials and have increased our levels of essential raw materials to cover any supply interruption that our key suppliers may experience. Finally, our supply chain is not dependent on a single supplier or supplier that has a single facility or a large share of the global market.

CREDIT POLICY
These are unprecedented and difficult times to be in business and there is a risk that some customers may need to close and may not be able to pay us. We have responsibilities to all stakeholders in our business, customers, staff, suppliers, shareholders and the community. In order to balance these responsibilities, we have implemented a strict ‘inside terms only’ credit trading policy with our customers. Where in the past we may have offered some flexibility with payment terms we will now be asking accounts to be within agreed trading terms so that we can continue supply.

Should you have any questions regarding any of the areas outlined please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Finally, thank you for your continued support and business, it is greatly appreciated.
